W~AS, there has been filed wi~h the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the nine of the property owner in
the area described hereinafter requesting annexation ~o ~e corporate area
of ~e City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included ~herein; ~d
WHE~AS, the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, having
certified that there is one pro~rty owner in the area to be a~exed and that
said proper~y owner has signed the petition for annexation, and
W~AS, ~e City Commission of the City of Sanford, Flo~da,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and to
annex said area;
NOW, T~FORE, BE IT ENACTED BY T~ PEOPLE OF T5
CITY OF SANFORD, FLO~DA:
SECTION 1. Tha~ ~a~ certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described in the Exhibit attached here~o and made a part hereof be ~d the s~e
is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant
to ~e terms of Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and property owner in the property described herein shall be entitled
to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to time granted
to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are
further provided in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973, and shall further
be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time
to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford0 Florida,
and the provisions of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
