3671 ORDINANCE NO. 3671
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ARTICLE V, CODE ENFORCEMENT
CITATIONS, SECTION 18-87(a), OF THE CITY'S CODE OF
ORDINANCES, TO INCLUDE SCHEDULE S, HISTORIC
PRESERVATION, OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE,
AS A CLASS I OFFENSE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford finds it to be in the best
interest of the City to amend Article V, Code Enforcement Citations, Section 18-87(a), of
the City's Code of Ordinances to include Schedule S, Historic Preservation, of the Land
Development Code, as a Class 1 offense;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 18~87(a), Schedule of Violations, of Article V, of the City's
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding the following:
Chapter/Section Code requirement Class
Schedule S, of the Violations of Schedule S Class I
Land Development
Code
SECTION 2: SEVERABILITY If any section or portion of a section of this
Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair
the validity, force or effect of any other action or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: CONFLICTS That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: CODIFICATION It is the intention of the City Commission of the
City of Sanford, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance
shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanford,
Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish
such intention; that the word, "Ordinance," may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other
appropriate word,
SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage and adoption.
