1752 ORDINANCE NO. 1752
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 11-
12, BY ADDING SECTION (e), OF THE SANFORD
CITY CODE, TO PROVIDE SPECIAL PICK-UP RATES
TO BE CHARGED ACCORDING TO VOLUME INSTEAD OF
TIME; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABiLITY, CONFLICTS,
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA~
SECTION t: That Chapter 11~ Article 1, Section lla12,
of the Sanford City Code is hereby amended by adding subparagraph
(e), said amendment providing for special pick-up rates to be
charged according to volume instead of time. The following is
the schedule of rates:
3. cu. yds., or less 1/4 truckload $15.00 min~
3.1 cu. yds. - 6 cu. yds. 1/2 truckload 30.00 min.
6.1 cu. yds. - 9 cu. yds. 3/4 truckload 45.00 min.
9.1 cu. yds. -12 cu. yds. whole truckload 60.00 min.
AppIiances ( refrigerator, stove, freezer, washer, dryer,
etc.) 5.00 each
Minimum charge will be $15.00 for special pick-up.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to ~mpair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
