AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A 10' REAR
YARD UTILITY EASEMENT, LOCATED ON LOT 7,
MAYFAIR CLUB, PHASE I, ADDRESSED AS 162 GOLFSIDE
CIRCLE IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City of Sanford to close, vacate
and abandon a 10' rear yard utility easement located on Lot 7, Mayfair Club, Phase I,
addressed as 162 Golfside Circle, in the City of Sanford, Florida; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to be held on February 10, 2003,for consideration and
determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning a 10' rear yard
utility easement located on Lot 7, Mayfair Club, Phase I, addressed as 162 Golfside Circle
should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating and
abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the
City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order, convenience,
and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That a 10' rear yard utility easement located on Lot 7, Mayfair Club
Phase I, addressed as 162 Golfside Circle in the City of Sanford, more particularly
described as follows:

THAT PART OF 10.00 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT LYING
SOUTHERLY OF AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE NORTHERLY LINE
OF LOT 7, MAYFAIR CLUB PHASE I RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK
53, PAGES 7 AND 8 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE
COUNTY, FLORIDA AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS: COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF SAID LOT 7, THENCE N 89° 56' 42" W, 5.00 FEET ALONG
THE NORTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 7 FOR A POINT OF
BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUE N 89° 56' 42" W, 80.21 FEET
ALONG THE NORTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 7, SAID
NORTHERLY LINE OF LOT 7 ALSO BEING THE NORTHERLY
LINE OF A 10.00 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT; THENCE
LEAVING THE NORTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 7 RUN S 00° 02'
22" W, 10.00 FEET TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID 10.00
FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT; THENCE S 89° 56' 42" E, 80.21
ALONG SAID SOUTHERLY LINE; THENCE N 00° 03' 18" E, 10.00
FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be
invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, force or effect
of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
