3826ORDINANCE NO. 3826 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF SOUTH PARK AVENUE LYING BETWEEN EAST 24TM STREET AND 25TM STREET AND BETWEEN SOUTH PALMETTO AVENUE AND SOUTH OAK AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City of Sanford to close, vacate and abandon a portion of South Park Avenue lying between East 24~h Street and 2~ Street and between South Palmetto Avenue and South Oak Avenue; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 24, 2003, for consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of that portion of South Park Avenue lying between East 24~h Street and 25~ Street and between South Palmetto Avenue and South Oak Avenue should be allowed; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and abandoning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the portion of South Park Avenue lying between East 24~ Street and_ 25~h Street and between South Palmetto Avenue and South Oak Avenue; more ....... SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, fome or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
