AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA RE-ENACTING THE PROVISIONS OF
ORDINANCE NUMBER 3778; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION AND REENACTMENT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE SEAMLESS
CONTINUATION OF LOCAL FIRE PREVENTION CODE
AMENDMENTS.
WHEREAS, Section 166.041(3)(b), Florida Statutes, provides that the City
Commission may enact emergency ordinances by a vote of two-thirds (2~3) of the
membership of the City Commission; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Sanford has determined that it is in
the best interests of the citizens of the City of Sanford to protect the citizens and property
owners of the City of Sanford through the re-enactment of Ordinance Number 3778 by
means of the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency measure and for the purposes
of protecting the public health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
~ _RE-ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 37781CHAPTER 9
~ The provisions of Ordinance Number 3778 are hereby re-enacted.
~ CODiFICATION/REENACTMENT. This Ordinance shall not be
codified in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanford. This Ordinance shall be re-
enacted by means of the regular enactment processes as set forth in Section 166.041,
Florida Statutes.
~ ~ If any section or portion of a section of this
Ordinance proves to be invalid1 unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair
the validity, force or effect of any other action or part of this Ordinance.
~ ~ All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.

a.m. on January 1, 2005.
