AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 972, SUCH ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 21, SECTION 21-14, THEREOF,
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA 1954,
AS AMENDED, SAID AMENDMENT REVISING SUCH
RATES AND CHARGES RELATING TO USERS OUTSIDE
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SANFORD.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 972 heretofore adopted by the City of
Sanford on September 8, 1969, and effective October 1, 1969, established
sewer rates and charges for users inside as well as outside the corporate
limits of the City of Sanford; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Florida has pre-empted
rates for users outside municipal corporate limits necessitating a revision
of charges for such users;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the rates specified in Ordinance No. 972 of the
City of Sanford, Florida, pertaining to users outside the corporate limits
of the City of Sanford, Florida, be and the same are hereby amended to
be twenty-five percent (25%) above the rates therein established for users
within the corporate limits of the City of Sanford.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective December
1, 1970.
