1020 ORDINANCE NO. 1020
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ADOPTING FIRE PREVENTION CODE, 1970 EDITION, AS
RECOMMENDED BY THE AMERICAN INSURANCE ASSOGIA-
TION, SUCCESSOR TO THE NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE
UNDERWRITERS, AS THE FIRE pREVENTION CODE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition, as recom-
mended by the American Insurance Association, successor to the National
Board of Fire underwriters, be and the same is hereby adopted as the Fire
Prevention Code of the City of Sanford, Florida; that two true copies of said
Code are herewith filed in the Office of the City Clerk as a matter of permanent
record of the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the matters and contents
therein by reference are made a part of this Ordinance as fully and com-
pletely as if set forth herein, and that said copies shall remain on file in
said office available for public inspection.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
