Box 1778 ~' i~: Sanford, Florida 32771 ORDINANCE NO 1042 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORID'A, ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREAS DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER, IN ACCORDA'4 CE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1957. WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida, petitions containing the names of the property owners in the areas described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certifications of the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, as to the sufficiency of such petitions pursuant to the terms of said Act received; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petitions and to annex said areas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CiTY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That those certain areas in Seminole County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit: Lots 9 through 15, Block 27, Fourth Section, Dreamwold Subdivision, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, page 99, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; The North 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 7, Township 20 South, Range 31 East, lying West of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad right of way (less the North 430.5 feet of the South 600 feet of the West 300 feet thereof, and less rights of way for public roads); right of way of Mellonville Avenue, (less the right of way of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, and less rights of way for public roads); be and the same are hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957. SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective the residents and property owners in the above described annexed areas shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957.
