ORDINANCE NO. 1057
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING STREETS AND
ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AS
DELINEATED BELOW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That those certain streets and alleys in the City of
Sanford, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:

Maple Avenue lying South of Twelfth Street and North
of Seaboard Coast Line Railroad right of way, being
more particularly described as: That portion of Maple
Avenue bounded on the West by Lots 1 and 2, Block 14,
Tier 10, and on the East by Lots 6 and 7, Block 14, Tier
9, all in E. R. Trafford's Map of the Town of Sanford;
A North-South alley between Twelfth Street and the
Seaboard Coast Line Railroad right of way and between
Holly Avenue and Maple Avenue, being more particularly
described as: That certain alley bounded on the West by
Lot 6 and on the East by Lots 1 and 2, all in Block 14,
Tier 10, E. R. Trafford's Map of the Town of Sanford;
(reserving, however, unto the City of Sanford an easement
for public utilities over and across the entire above
described area);

That portion of Sixth Street lying between the West right
of way line of Bay Avenue and the East right of way line
of Orange Avenue, (reserving, however, unto the City
of Sanford, a utility easement along and across said
area and in addition thereto, the presently existing
North-South alley crossings);
The Westerly 6 feet of Palmetto Avenue abutting Lot 40,
Lake View Park;
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as public streets
and alleys in the City of Sanford, and the City does hereby disclaim for
itself and the public all interest therein except as stated hereinubove.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
