Ed and Barbara Hampden will be meeting with Principal Ron Nathan and parents of Bentley Elementary Schoo to
discuss their proposed multi - family apartment project for the Lowe Avenue 5.3 acre site that sits directly to the nortt of
Bentley Elementary School.

A meeting was held on Monday, November 3, 2008, at 7 PM, at Bentley Elementary Scnooi, z i ,u a. uregon Avenue.

Principal Ron Nathan opened the meeting at 7:10 PM and introduced Ed and Barbara Hampden. He explained that the
H ; pdens would give a presentation about their proposed project followed by a presentation by John Wilson representing the School
• i visory Committee. Parents or community members with questions or comments were instructed to complete a form that was
p s vided at the meeting.
Ed Hampden gave a brief opening statement about the project and Barbara Hampden facilitated a power point
p - sentation and discussion about the history of the property and their objectives to develop the site. She explained that they are in the
r: oning process and that their request has not yet been presented to the City Commission for consideration.
John Wilson directed several questions to Ms. Hampden before reading a statement regarding concerns about the
p eject. His statement was similar to the e-mail sent to Russ Gibson on November 3, 2008 (copy attached).
Other concerns voiced at the meeting included, but were not limited to, safety /crime issues, traffic impacts, flooding,
1 . income housing, damage to the roads, impacts to the Lake Mary community, airplane activities, building height, small unit sizes
(" • Osf) and limited access to the project.
The meeting ended at approximately 8:30 PM.
