AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT NO HORSE,
COW OR OTHER GRAZING ANI~V~AL SHALL BE KEPT,
PENNED, HOUSED OR STALLED WITHIN ONE HUN-
DRED FEET OF ANY DWELLING HOUSE OCCUPIED
BY OWNER OR TENANT IN THE cITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, E~CEPT THAT OF THE OWNER OR KEEPER
OF SUCH HORSE, COW OR oTHER GRAZING ANl~AL,
AS HEREIN PROVIDED, AND PROVIDING A pENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT EEACTED BY THE PEOPIiE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That no horse, cow or other grazing
animal shall be kept, penned, housed or stalled within
one hundred feet of any dwelling house occupied by the
owner or tenant in the City of Sanford, Florida, pro-
vided, however, that this ordinance shall not prohibit
the owner or keeper of such animal or animals from
keeping such animal or animals penned, housed or stalled
within one hundred feet of the dwelling house occupied
by such owner or keeper so long as no other dwelling
house occupied as aforesaid is within one hundred feet
of said animal or animals.
Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation
who shall violate the provisions of Section i hereof
shall be
hundred dollars, or by
than ninety days.
Section 3. That
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
punished by a fine of not more than two
imprisonment for not more

same
are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become
effective thirty days after its passage and adoption.
