WITH
PROFESSIONAL AGRONOMIC & HORTICULTURAL CONSULTING
SERVICE
This Agreement is made and entered into this ~+h day of June, 2000, by and
between City of Sanford, a City and political subdivision of the State of Florida, hereai~er
referred to as "City" and Professional Agronomic & Horticultural Consulting Service,
hereinafier referred to as "PACS, Inc."
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City may desire to retain PACS, Inc. to render professional
services pertaining to Golf Course Consulting at Mayfair Country Club be assigned to
PACS, Inc. upon terms and conditions hereinafter set forth: and PACS, Inc. is desirous
of obtaining such consulting work and performing such services upon said terms and
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements
hereinafter contained, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows:
During the time period of mid March through mid September PACS, Inc. will
monitor and evaluate overall ground maintenance activities as described in the
annual maintenance schedule submitted by Mayfair Golf Course. This will
include verifying all chemical treatments, especially fertilizer applications and
pesticide treatments etc., and discussion with Mayfair staff of all problems and
concerns observed while touring the course. If unable to meet with Mayfair staff,
PACS, Inc. will submit recommendations to the City for forwarding to Mayfair.
Submit to the City Manager a detailed report covering observations and any
discussions that PACS, Inc. may have had with Mayfair staff including any action
taken by them. For the period of mid September until mid March only bimonthiy
inspections and reports will be required.
3. Total cost for this service for one year would be $3,600.
This agreement shall become effective July 1, 2000. This is a one (1) year
agreement that may be extended each additional year if agreed to by both parties.
Either party may terminate this agreement by giving a sixty (60) day written
notice. Additional agreement extensions may involve payment changes and/or
other changes if both parties are in agreement.
