The cost proposal shall remain effective for a period of 60 days. If you should require longer than 60 days to formally authorize us to proceed, we request that you permit us to revise our cost proposal to account for any changes in cost. The fee estimate includes two copies of the final report. Additional copies can be provided at a cost of $0.25 per page and $1.00 per plan sheet, plus mailing costs or a minimum of $25 per report. All reports will be shipped via first class mail on project completion. Shipping via overnight or courier delivery service will be provided at the client's request at cost plus 15 percent. If a stormwater drawdown evaluation is required, the engineering fee will be $450 per analysis. We have made a good faith effort to work with you to develop a work scope and fee estimate. Because of the possibility of unknown, discovered, underground conditions, and/or the need for additional services that neither you nor we can currently foresee, we recommend that you budget a contingency equal 'to 15 percent of the total fee estimate. We have not made an allowance to perform an environmental assessment, a stormwater drawdown evaluation, or a sinkhole evaluation. If you would like us to perform any of these services, we will be glad to modify this proposal for you. COST AND TERMS Presented in Exhibit I, attached, are our costs for performing these services. We will not exceed our budget unless the soils encountered are significantly different than those anticipated or the site is not accessible to our truck-mounted drilling rig. If you wish us to proceed, please have the par~y responsible for payment sign the appropriate space on the Work Authorization/Proposal Acceptance Forms and return one copy to us. We can begin work within two to four days after notification to proceed and will complete this project less than two weeks thereafter.
