474-Orlando Paving Company CONTRACT - 474 AGREEMENT This agreement is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF SANFORD, with its principal place of business located at City Hall, P. O. Box 1788, Sanford, FL 32772, heroinafter referred to as the "City", and ORLANDO PAVING COMPANY INC., with its principal place of business located at 1936 Lee Road, # 235, Winter Park, Florida - 32789, heroinafter referred to as the "Contractor." The Contractor agrees to provide construction services for the resuffacing and reconditioning of various asphalt streets within the City of Sanford as agreed between the City and the Contractor and as approved by the Sanford City Commission on November 9, 1991 and in accordance with the terms of Seminole County Contract number A/R-258. Contract A/R=258 was awarded to the Contractor by the Board of Seminole County Commissioners on November 27, 1990, after a competitive bid was conducted by Seminole County's Purchasing Department and was extended on November 11, 1991 and is attached hereto. Contractor agrees to provide construction services on City streets listed on the attached "STREET PAVING & MILLING LIST, 10/14/92", consisting of seven (7) pages, listing approximately 241,500 square yards of streets and as amended from time to time by the City. The Contractor agrees to perform work as directed by the City's Public Works Director, Robert G. Herman or Street Superintendent, Richard Davis, such direction shall include addition/deletion of listed street/streets, street segments, construction method, construction depth and notice to proceed. The City agrees to pay for authorized construction items that are provided by the Contractor and/or his authorized sub-contractors in accordance with the terms of Seminole County Contract number A/R-258. executed in triplicate, this/~p y of ,.._ ,1993. da William A.
