205-CPH-Amendment 11 A. GENERAL Subsequent to Seminole County's purchase of Sanford's previously targeted Yankee Lake effluent disposal site, it has been necessary to explore the feasibility of alternative plans for effluent disposal including looking for potential alternative effluent disposal sites. The following alternatives have been preliminarily screened: 1. Disposal of effluent at the "Osceola site" 2. Disposal of effluent at the 2,400± acre site east of Lake Jessup (Site No. lO) 3. Disposal of effluent at the Sanford Municipal Airport (spray irrigation) 4. Disposal of effluent at Mayfair Golf Course (spray irrigation) 5. Disposal of effluent at various properties in the vicinity of Twin Lakes and Oregon Avenue 6. Disposal of effluent on various publicly owned tracts (spray irrigation) 7. Wet weather discharge to the St. Johns River downstream of Lake Monroe 8. Wet weather discharge to Lake Monroe 9. Disposal of effluent on the "Naked Place" property (wetland disposal with discharge) lO. Disposal of effluent by injection into the aquifer downstream of the potable water supplies Over this period of time, it has become evident that the solution should be a combination of sites because there is no single reasonable site readily capable of accepting, on a long term basis, the total flow from the wastewater treatment plant. A position paper has been presented to the District Office of the Dept. of Environmental Regulation which indicated the alternatives that have been examined. The paper indicated probable capacities of the various IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Amendment to be executed as of the day and year hereinabove set forth.
