PROJECT: Magnolia Square Concepts

CONTRACTED
PROFESSIONAL:
Land Design Innovations, Inc.
MASTER CONTRACT: All of the terms and conditions of the master continuing services contract are
applicable to this work order.
Execution of Work Order Number , by the Cit3' of Sanford, shall serve as authorization
for the Consultant to provide professional services to assist the City of Sanford.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
The scope of services includes the design of two colored conceptual site plans for Magnolia Square
in doxvntown Sanford. The conceptual plans (24 X 36 format) will include the identification of:
· existing building locations
· hardscape features (focal points and paving patterns)
· landscape features
· traffic and pedestrian circulation patterns
· ingress/egress locations
· special event layout
The scope includes (2) two meeting with City Staff to study existing site conditions and to select the
desired alternative. We w~l prepare a conceptual colored perspective for the two alternatives to illustrate
Magnolia Square with the proposed improvements. LDI will provide these services at LDI's hourly rates
w/th a not to exceed fee of $4,800. Reknbursable expenses are not to exceed $300. If additional services or
reimbursables are needed, then they can be negotiated under an addendum or another contract.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSULTANT:
Consultant shall provide said professional services pursuant the letter to Mayor Kuhn, dated August
30, 2005, as attached hereto.
TIME FOR COMPLETION:
The professional services authorized by this Work Order shall be completed within the timeframe
authorized by the Cit% and any amendments thereto.
COMPENSATION:
The fees for the professional services shall be performed for a lttmp sum not to exceed $5,000, plus
reimbursable expenses, xvithout additional written approval from the City Manager. Additional meeting and
public hearing attendance and revisions shall be performed as additional services on an hourly fee basis if
requested.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this Work Order on this 30th day
of September, 2005, for the purposes stated herein.
